Dreamland, about 1-2 miles from campus i think???
Kind of a hole in the wall. they really just serve ribs, bread and a drink
great food
They have a few places now in Bham.
But I think just one in Tuscaloosa
A must go place, plus, take in the Bear Bryant museum on campus.
worth the admission

Dreamland Ribs is a must as far as dive atmosphere in the hood, and I suggest trying it once(I've been 7 times), but it is a big f@cking myth, it has way too much marbling and fat, and can be chewy more than not, the slaw is nothing to write home about either.

Anyone that is from KC, Dallas, or Memphis will call it amateur upon trying it, much the way I rate most "cajun or creole" food abroad, being from BR/Nawlins..just my two cents.

Give me Aurthur Bryant, Corky's, or Stubbs any day over Dreamland, KC for beef & Memphis for pig's @ss..if you want something good & authentic from Bama, buy a Drive-By Truckers disc!

Tell 'em Geaux Tigers and that hell's coming in November!

Much like The Chymes or Mike Anderson's in Baton Rouge, or Schulz & El Arroyo in Austin, Dreamland is a zoo on gameday..GL waiting in line!
